Andrea Carboni was born in Arezzo in May 1986. After graduating he moved to Milan to study furniture design at the Politecnico di Milano. During these studies discovered passion for photography. After an initial self-taught learning, from 2011 he began attending photographic circles getting passionate and closer to reportage photography . In 2013 he decided to attend the course in photojournalism at the Fondazione Studio Marangoni in Florence with the collective TerraProject.
These experiences change his style and the way of approaching photography. Since then he is involved in personal projects of documentary photography with an emphasis on relationships between humans and the environment that surrounds him.He has exhibited in numerous exhibitions in Italy, Germany and Poland.
In 2018 has been awarded of the third prize at Canon Young Photographer in partnership with Cortona On the Move festival.
